Range report:
After an initial cleaning and lubing, I took the baby to the range today to break it in.
I had brought a mixed load (all factory) of 230 gr Winchester SXZ (training), 185 gr Remington Golden Saber +P, Federal 230 gr Hydra Shocks, and some 230 gr American Eagle FMJ (not shown).

Note: I used 2 stock mags and 1 McCormick Power Mag
Here's how I broke it in:
1st/6th mag: 8 rounds SXZ (1 FTF, 6th mag{stock mag})
2nd/7th mag: 8 rounds Golden Saber (1 FTF, 2nd mag{Power mag})
3rd/8th mag: 8 rounds AE (no issues)
4th/9th mag: 8 rounds Hydra Shock (no issues)
5th mag: 2 rounds each randomly inserted (1 FTF, Golden Saber{Power mag})
10th-15th mag: All SXZ (1 FTF 11th mag{stock mag})
16th-20th mag: All AE (no issues)
21st-30th mag: All Hydra Shocks (no issues)
After the last FTF, the gun ran like a scalded cat. Although I noticed that the Power Mags didn't like the Golden Sabers, the gun really took a liking to the Hydra Shocks, which is going to be my choice for EDC.

All rounds fired from 5, 7, 10, and 15 yards.
Yes, I know I was a tad left, but I'm attributing it to getting used to a single-stack grip, versus the double-stack I'm used to.Last edited by Blackhorse2010; 10-04-2013, 7:40 AM.Comment

I really like the look of that gun. Also, wish I could walk in and out the same day with my property.Comment
