    Not cool, Beretta

I was breaking in my 92FS Inox on Monday afternoon. About halfway through the second box, I notice the one of the rear red dot sights is missing.

Can I send this to Beretta under the warranty?

Why are you asking us? We're not Beretta. Call them and I bet they will take care of you.

      Maybe you can. Not sure.

But as an alternative, get a red sharpie and put the dot back on with it. If you use the paint version of the sharpie, it works better.

I have done this on one of my guns with a white dot.

I didn't have to deal with warranty and shipping and downtime with my gun.

      Good luck!

thats a good excuse to upgrade to night sights right there, unless of course thr front sight is fixed. If that is the case I would honestly just grab a tube of testors paint or something along those lines and paint it myself rather than send it in and wait. The paint will probably chip again anyway, my M9A1 front sight is missing some paint just from use.

from my experience with Beretta, they take FORREEEVVVERRRRR to get your parts fixed and mailed back....could be different for you though...

Use some of your mother's nail polish to touch up that rear sight.

Nail polish or any expoxy is probably best.

Probably didn't clean the sight before application and some surface oil stopped the bonding.

That's a $5 fix, not worth the mailing and turnaround. You might as well spring for some tritium at that rate.

Why would he use his mom's when he could use his own? :P

I used white nail polish on a Marlin 1895 front sight.
Worked well until the 1st cleaning and then it comes right off.
I carry a bottle of white nail polish in my truck when I want to shoot.
Looks kind of fruity to run around with nail polish, but I'm confident enough with my sexuality to pull it off lol

Might just be paint that got hard and popped out. Not unusual. I touch up my sights with model paint occasionally on several of mine.

Follow the teeny boppers to where they buy the exotic nail colors. You'll find some of the most eye popping colors that testor's never dreamed of. And for more fun, tell them it's not for you, it's for your pistol. Maybe you'll raise an eyebrow with a ring in it.

I had two Beretta 92FS, one with night sights and the other dots. Neither was as nice as my Browning High Power.

I'm sure they'll take care of it, or even better is send you a replacement rear sight. I would email or call their customer service and provide them an explanation of what happened along with the photo that you shared here.
