Contact these folks. Get their trigger. It is more upswept, so it sits further away from your finger when in single action mode.

This leads me to have to rotate my finger either inwards or outwards to get enough length of pull.
Curl your finger more and use the tip on the trigger

I have similar issues with my M9A1. My hands are a bit smaller so it's quite a long reach in DA. It's also a pretty hard pull . My finger "contact point" wants to change as I pull.

It's not so bad in SA. A bit of slack, but then a firm feel to the sear, then a short but crisp break.

I also feel a "false reset". If I slowly release, I feel and hear a subtle click but the the trigger is dead (no sear engagement). I have to release a bit further to fully reset.

I've only had it a few months and only have about 150 rounds through it. I hope it will break in a bit more.

Check out beretta forums. Theres a member there, schafablet (sic). He has a speed bump short reach trigger that you may be inyerested in. Ive also got one of his low profile singlel sided safeties. Keeps it nice and out of the way. His shops called allegheny guv works. May have some products that could solve your problems. Really knowledgable guy thats willing to share too.

That may be uncomfortable and unnatural for him. It is for me.

^^ this. Also it gives you zero control for rapid firing. Slow singles that is something I've been trying but its not a good solution

I'll give the hogues a try. Only $20 not much to lose. I just thought the hogues are counter intuitive since it adds more material to the front strap and not the back strap I thought it would make the problem worse and not better...

              Thanks for the help guys.
