I've put a couple boxes of .40 threw mine without any hiccups. I did hours and hours worth of research to try and find any kabooms or negative effects before i tried it, and found nothing. Just a good barrel cleaning before switching back to 10mm seems to be the general consensus.

I run a conversion barrel just because it is more accurate, albeit marginal, and I can shoot reloads and lead without issue

I bought a Gen4 G20 recently and will test it with .40s&w only because I want to confirm that I have a gun that will safely fire that caliber in a pinch - I have no other .40 and I don't plan on buying one.

Should I be in dire need of ammo and have limited choices, it's nice to know it is possible, even if not 100% recommended, 100% reliable, and 100% safe.
