they will not swap magazines, and its up to your FFL if they can disassemble them as kits

You can have the magazines shipped separately to another state. That's what I did with mine!

I believe OC Armory accepts hi-cap magazines and will block them/disassemble them for a small fee.

Hi everyone. I have a question on purchasing an SP-01 from out of state. Since this firearm is on the approved list, then SSE is not required. You only need to find a local FFL that will replace or modify the high cap magazines to 10 rounds. Is this correct?

                      Thank you.

The FFL needs to hold a "High capacity magazine" permit. KyGunCo requires that to be sent along with a copy of their FFL.

You're only options are: send the magazines to an out of state address and have them disassembled. Send them to a FFL with high cap permit. Exclude magazines from order.

Happen to know of any San Diego FFL's with a high cap permit?

Try parallax tactical or DAS in Solana Beach. I'm having mine sent to OC Armory, about 45 minute drive from SD.
