    I've built 2, one 223 and another 22lr. I spent roughly $700 on the 223 and about $600 on the 22lr.

    I know some people buy big brand names but for me functionality is more important. I could care less what name is on the side.

      Pretty sure you cant sell that since you built it from an 80%

        It's legal to sell completed 80% lowers as long as they have a serial number, make and model etched into them deeper than three thousandths of an inch.

        I'm pretty sure that's the depth but I'd confirm it.

          if you aren't a licensed manufacturer, you can't build it with the intent to sell it. but, if after you have built it, you later decide to sell it, that is allowable. At that point, ATF says that you have to mark it in the same manner that a licensed manufacturer does.
