    RIA 1911CS RECOIL SPRING?

    i have a ria 1911cs the 3.5 barrel i ordered a wilson combat officers number 24# spring it is way longer than the stock sprring??? can someone help is it the wrong spring?

    I believe based upon what I've read online that you need a 49024 wolf spring which is listed for Colt Officer/P12 with full diameter guide rods.

    You may wish to call them at 1-800-545-0077 and see if they can verify that is the correct part number.

      And I have a Wolff 49022 (22lb) one that I installed once in my RIA compact and then removed before ever firing the gun.

      Send me a PM with your address if you want it.

      If you want a 24lb instead, then you need #49024, as redcliff mentioned.

          They originally came with 22lb springs but RIA increased the spring pressure to try to extend the spring life a bit.
