A magazine lock would be necessary if he wanted a threaded barrel.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

bullet button will be needed as it has a threaded barrel.Government by the consent of the governedComment

As originally brought into California and sold, the MPA MAC-10 is a California compliant single shot pistol with a hard black plastic magazine "butt plug" and shortened magazine release lever that requires a tool to operate.
Once you take possession of it, MPA will send you a standard mag release lever that allows you to remove the mag well plug and use those standard 30 round M3 grease-gun magazines that you wisely purchased and put away long before the Cornhole-iforna magazine ban.
The California version of the MPA pistol has a muzzle break tack-welded to the barrel, so it does not have a deadly and dangerous, child-killing, threaded barrel for the purposes of those wonderful safety regulations that are there for your and my personal safety.Last edited by Marcus von W.; 09-10-2013, 2:40 PM.Comment

It needs to have a thread protector or muzzle brake tack welded over the threads BEFORE it enters California, or it is an illegal "assault weapon" under California law.
As far as I know, with a used gun, you don't have to worry about the "Safe Guns Roster" or Single Shot Exemption, so you don't need the "Lorena Bobbit" mag release lever. Since the magazine goes into the grip, the laws on this are the same as something like a 1911 or Glock....if it was an AK pistol like the Draco or Hellpup that has the magazine outside the grip, it would need a mag lock.Last edited by Marcus von W.; 09-10-2013, 3:36 PM.Comment
