CZ PCR Front Sight

Hello

I am looking to replace the factory front sight on my CZ 75D PCR with a fiber optic. I know that the front sights of the PCR differ from the rest of the 75 line and in being replaced can leave a gap. Does anyone know of a specific brand of sight that will fit properly (no gap)?

CZ-USA products are mostly on back order w/ no known arrival date so I am looking for another option (plus they utilize red and I prefer green).

Give Stuart @ CZ customs or David @ Cajun Gun Works a call. They both have fiber optic front sights for CZs. They'll help you choose which will fit without a gap and what height you'll need to match the rear sights of your PCR. You can always change the color of the fiber optic once the sight is installed which CZcustoms has the different color and size fiber optic rods.

I'd also call David. He can send you the right size blade. I was not aware the front was different, first I've heard that. I know the rear site cut is different on the PCR.

As a new shooter and information junkie I can say it was on a forum but as we all know not everything on the internet is 100% correct. There have been many occasions along my shooting "career" where reality has usurped written word. David recommended a sight not shown on his website which has the bonus of already being cut for the cross pin.

David sent me a .260" front sight. The package includes the sight, 3 FO, a nylon punch, and a tiny hex.

Dave is awesome, I just installed the CGW spring kit on my p-01.

Do you mind sharing what you paid for that sight?

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have a reco for a CZ specific gunsmith. The smith, "Chief" Poynter, at the Insight Range in Artesia is really knowledgeable, so he may be able to help you out or point you in the right direction.
