You could also purchase a G30SF, and then purchase a G36 upper and put it together yourself and have the option of either the thin or thick slide. Uppers can be purchased new from GLOCK or used on occasion for $250-$300.Comment

I bought mine at Tracy Rifle and Pistol a few weeks ago. They got 10 of them I think. Doubt they have any left but call them to see when they are getting more. Price was $599. MTG in Elk Grove had them for $579Comment
