I finally got a chance to take my Valor to the range.
I took it to On Target yesterday/Labor Day. (Off topic - On Target no longer have air conditioning in the shooting area - super hot, I was sweating being in there. After my session, I asked the RO behind the counter, he said that it was too expensive to have air conditioning & to recycle all the air that has all the carbon/etc from the guns. So now they just have fresh air from the outside.) Wow... it kind sucked on a 90-100 degree day...
Here is a brief range report. I used both the Herter's & the American Eagle ammo. ZERO FTF/FTE, no problems at all. I used the DW 8 Round mag, 2 Wilson 47D 8 round mags, and 2 x 10 round Chip McCormick mags, every mag worked perfectly. The Valor had a nice crisp break, low felt recoil, easy follow up shots. I was working on shooting with both eyes open, the Valor is easy to shoot, easy to follow up shots. Needless to say, I LOVE this gun, easily my favorite in my stable!
