Can a trigger connector cause a G17 to run away?

    You're not the first person that this has happened to. A friend of mine had a similar issue (consistent double taps) with his G27 after installing a LWD connector. I know that some of them require some polishing or slight modification, so if you or whoever removed to much material from the contact surface as others have said this type of symptom is probable.

    I'd replace it with a factory connector ASAP.

      i did a thorough inspection of the trigger assembly (comparing it to my g19 trigger assembly and it appears that the new 3.5 LW connector has a different angle at the hook that works with the trigger bar. I put the stock connector back in. This one is going back in the safe until i can run a few boxes of ammo in it w/o malfunction and calling midway tomorrow to get a replacement if i decide to throw it back in later.

      I know i just had to sit down and inspect it thoroughly however just wanted some insight and knowledge. I appreciate it.

        Just know that the different angle at the top of the connector is what gives it the lighter pool, so there could very well be a manufacturing problem with this particular unit that may just be a quality control issue.
