    Glock Discontinuing "C" models

Hopefully not a dupe...I did a quick scan and didn't see anything.

Glock recently sent out an e-mail to their distributors that they will be discontinuing their “C” model line of compensated pistols. They also announced that they will also discontinue their Glock 20, 21, 29 and 30 Gen 3 line as well.Their announcement can be seen below as posted on GlockTalk.com.

    Thoughts?

I have the 23C and it makes a notable difference in the snappiness, compared to a regular 23 (.40)

Even more disturbing is that they are discontinuing the 20, 21, 29 and 30 Gen 3 line. So does this leave a gap in their product line for CA?

It says the SF models will remain in production. So you can get a G21SF or G20SF, just not the original (bigger) G20/21 frames. I think all the SF guns are on the roster.

The C models are great. I guess the sales aren't good enough and tons of FUD over it blinds you in the dark and crap. I've shot C models in the dark and has little to no effects.

The recoil is reduced on the snap making follow up shots faster. Love it, the only thing I could see bad is it covers my front site with crud after a whole range day, but only takes a swipe of my finger to clean it.

I too like the C, I'll snatch up used ones if the price is right.

I'm with you kel-tec. The "c" models don't blind you any worse than a revolver or really any gun for that matter. I love my 23c. Its too bad so Many people believe the fud about these awesome pistols.

The 22C is a awesome gun to introduce newbie shooters to

That being said, I better jump on the 10MM wagon while I have the time.
