I keep my G21SF loaded with Speer Gold Dot 230 gr JHPs. Hard to go wrong with that load.

Federal HST or Winchester Ranger-T in 9mm, .40 or .45: some of the best modern defense rounds available. Check out ballistics testing on Youtube by TNOutdoors9.

Federal HST 230 gr. .45 is usually available at Tactical Solutions, Inc. for $34 per box of 50 plus shipping. They're out now but seem to get them in every 3-4 weeks. Just keep checking back.

            I use the Winchester PDX
But to be honest, at the price, I haven't did more than a mag or 2 at the range with it, didn't have problems or anything I just would be more confident after putting more down range I suppose

Thank you folks. I've run Hornady Critical Defense in both 9 and .40, so I was thinking about sticking with them for .45. But moreso, I was hoping someone with a G30sf who has run a few different brands could shed some light (so I don't have to shed some $$$).

I carried Federal HST 230 gr. in my G-30SF. Great thing about Glocks is that you can feed it pretty much anything! Never had a hiccup with it.

Standard pressure 230gr Federal HST works for me.

Speer Gold Dot or Underwood (using the Speer Bullet).

Love the talons on Winchester Ranger T's, but the expansion doesn't seem reliable.

Any of the big name modern personal defense loads should be fine. Buy some and see if they run properly through you pistol. They should but you should check.
RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.
