g17 gen 2 value

Hello all I have a gen 2 g17 im trying to get a cash value or even a trade value? Ive looked on gunbroker but prices are all over the place. It has a little wear but not too much ,unkown round count comes 1 10rnd mag any advice whats a good start?

it's all relative to who's buying and who's selling, which is why the prices are all over the road on Gunbroker. there are those that seek the Gen 2 Glock, prefer it to other generations and are willing to pay a premium to own one; if you're a seller, that's the buyer you're looking for.

a few months ago i saw a lnib Gen 2 G17 (1993) sell for $799.00 (2 original 17 rd mags) on Gunbroker. in early december of last year i purchased a lnib (1 new 10 rd mag) Gen 2 G17 (1992) from my lgs for $450.00; i would have paid more.

without seeing pictures of your Glock, i'll guesstimate that an excellent condition with 'a little wear' Gen 2 G17 with original box and one 10 rd magazine could be worth between $420.00-$440.00+ to the right buyer; assuming original finish and the Glock has been left in original factory configuration. again, the gun's value is all relative to who's buying and who's selling. the original box adds optimal value enhancement to the Gen 2 G17 when the condition of the gun is minty/like new.

Unless you keep it NIB, then your not really buying a Glock for its resale value.
I wouldn't pay more than $400 for a used one regardless of condition.
LNIB (under 100 rounds) & NIB is a different story but depends on the condition.
