Glock 23 rtf2

Hello everyone, I have a friend who is moving here from El Paso tx. He has a glock 23 rtf2. Is this an off roster gun? Can he bring it here and register it?

If he is currently a resident in another state, and is moving his residence to California the Safe Handgun Roster does not apply, he just needs to register them with the state. However, AW laws, lists, and features are a totally different animal.

So in short he came bring his RTF2, and the Roster does not apply.

also if he has any magazines over the capacity of 10 he may not bring them with him

Tell your buddy to buy as many off roster pistols as possible. Here in the PRK freedom is a endangered species.

It's not $19 per pistol, you list as many pistols as you need to on multiple applications if necessary, and there is only one $19 fee.

While you are correct about multiple pages can be attached for more then 3 handguns you are incorrect about the $19 fee covering them all.
It is infact $19 per handgun.
Straight from the 2nd page:

New Resident Handgun Ownership Report Submission Requirements
Individuals must submit this application with a fee (check or money order made payable to the Department of Justice) in the
amount of $19.00 per firearm (i.e. 3 firearms x $19.00 = $57.00) to:
Department of Justice
Bureau of Firearms
P.O. Box 820200
Sacramento, CA 94203-0200

Complete all required information. Incomplete applications or applications submitted without the proper fees will be returned
without processing. If reporting more than three firearms, make and attach additional copies of this form to meet your
reporting needs.
