    Bar-Sto 1911

    Anyone own a Bar-Sto .40 1911.
I see they'll be off the list soon.
I sure would like to see they're .45 or 10mm on the Cal list.

I own two! 1 in .40 and another I sent back and got a .45 top end. Both are rock solid reliable. I really am surprised they are not more popular here in CA. they are handbuilt at a great price from someone willing to work with CA laws.

Save a few $ if you look at the 2011 STI Edge (+SSE), but I am sure the Barsto is probably built tighter than the STI.

2011/wide grip, is too wide for me, I prefer the single stack 1911's.

          I'm keeping mine .

Here is one I received a few years ago.

          1) Its handbuilt
          2) Match fit Bar-Sto Bull Barrel
          3) Supported a company that supports CA, and not give them reason to do otherwise. 2011s are so hard to come by, especially one that is ON THE ROSTER.

This one regularly goes about 3-4k rounds in between cleanings/maintenance without any hiccups. That's what I shoot in a typical month.
