    Want to change it up

Ive got a rock island tactical that ive never fired and im debating trading it for another 45. I had a MC Operator that i had to sell for car parts and bought this just to keep a 45. Now i want to just try something different after spoiling my 1911 fix and want to know some recommendations. I want to stay around the same price range as ill be selling/trading the rock island for it. Also it must be 45acp. I know a lot of you are going to say glock 21, my only complaint with that is i reload a lot of lead and cant use with that barrel, and dont want to change barrels.

I like my cz 97 and smith and wesson 625. They are both very nice to shoot.

Good luck getting a S&W 625 for the same price as a RIA Tactical!

I have looked at this thread many times and I still cannot come up with a recommendation besides the ones mentioned above. And yes, the 625 is a stretch and the 97B *might* be a stretch due to its lack of availability, which can drive the price up.

If you are concerned on how to shoot your .45ACP after selling your RIA, just give those .45's to me. I will shoot them!

Good luck! I would say look for a 97B. Fine shooting gun for sure!

not too different from the glock and m&p, but maybe give the xd45 a try

if your wanting to trade up maybe look for a fn 45, it would have to be sse'd or ppt but they look sweeet

                    I'd keep the Ria personally.

I handled the Ruger SR45 at a local shop and it felt great. Grip was narrower than that of the glock or Beretta.

It was about $499 I think. That would be my choice if I wanted a .45 and not a 1911.
