I bought some promags for mine, and I'm afraid they will damage the mag release due to how they lock in, so I don't use them.

It's a great gun though, and surprisingly to me it is my GF's favorite handgun of mine to shoot.

Promags: crap. Get HK mags. Just wait to find them cheaply. I bought 10 usp 45 mags for $180 a while ago. I think it was on HK forums or maybe bladeforums.

These two brands, HK and Promags, do not belong together.

I saw some factory 10 round mags on eBay for the USP40, don't know about the USP45. GunBroker may have them too.

Keep searching for deals, they pop up now and then. I bent over for my first few USP mags. but then found some used ones on the Marketplace in excellent condition and much much cheaper.

I always stay with factory mags, HK is justifiably proud of the quality of their mags.

Try GRTactical.com he's been around a while but is relatively new as a HK dealer. He tends to be about $10 under the other guys on mag prices. The 45 mags are still expensive but with HK you get what you pay for.

                      As mentioned above,

Don't waste your money on Promags. Buy from topgunsupply, grtactical, hkparts.net and search gunbroker and calguns marketplace everyday for a deal.

promags have a very bad rep, for HKs, just go with factory mags

M&P9 rebuilds are the new HK mags

As others have said watch the MP, they pop up for relatively cheap prices.

One thing I will say about HK quality, the mag springs are crap. I had to replace all my factory 10s with wolf springs.

After less than 1000 rounds they were failing to lock the slide open on the last round.

Probably hkpro.com which is a great place for OP to slowly hunt for mags. Also eBay, surprisingly.

That's odd, none of my mags have ever had any problems, including the 10 rounders.
