My 30 does something similar. I was told the mags would "loosen" up after break-in.

It's been 500 rnds and while it's better, they still don't fully eject.

I have a G19 Gen 4 magazine that does the same thing. Called Glock and they said it was "normal."

Spraying the mags and magwell with some silicon or Teflon lubricant might help.

My newest Glock is a Gen 3 21SF. It drops mags as well or better than the 6 other Glocks I own. I am using Ca compliant 10 round mags BTW, not blocked 13's if it makes a difference.

just curious but are you guys with the mag issues running the ambidextrous mag release models?

small bit of sanding in the magwell and of/on the mag itself.

spray lubricant on mag and in mag well. ( i use armor all but do wipe it down well)

check that the mag catch spring is in the release properly.

finally, if you kind of half press it you can actually catch and keep the magazine. so press it all the way in and with firmness.

I have done all of these and they work. i have a gen 3 21sf as well.

Like that ArmorAll recommendation, rmatt. Much better than Silicon or Teflon spray.

Has cut outs on both sides of the magazine
