What to get for 850$?

Looking for a new handgun addition, and got 850$. For handguns I got a xd9, 92fs, springfield loaded 1911 and s&w 637 snub. So Far most accurate with 1911 and XD, I used to do well wth the 92fs but recently much worse compared to xd and 1911. I think I need to change sights, it has the two dot...

Looking for 9mm or .45ACP, seeing as thats what I have...Something accurate and reliable and simple to field strip (no tool, or mag disconnect)

I was thinking maybe a sig 226, M&P9, USP45, G19, FNP45 or maybe a SAA clone in .357 5.5inch.

What would you suggest, or buy in my position?

I would consider getting a .40 so that in an ammo shortage you have more versatility when shopping for ammo.

I thought about it, but thought shooting so many calibers maybe hard to hone in and do well with them all.

But I wouldnt rule out a nice .40, it is cheaper than .45....

Not going to lie that's a hard list to pick from. Just a FYI that Springfield loaded is going to be more around $1,025 OTD. The others are more around that $850 range OTD.

Sig p226 for 9x19
Sig P220 for 45 - my recommendation.

Reasons,
1. Safety - no tools needed to strip, require action open to field strip so you know the chamber is empty.

2. Accuracy - P226 is on par but P220 is the most accurate out of box factory mass produced 45ACP handgun I've ever shot in the price range and custom fitted $1000s ones. And I have shot a 'lot' of pistols. my 1990s police trade-in typically shoots less than 1.5" 5-shot groups benched at 25 yards with my plinking ammo.

3. Trigger - smooth double action. one of the best single action of all mass produced 45s. out of box at 4.5lb.

4. thin profile for better conceal carry and lighter weight. however, the light weight may need some getting used to with 45's heavier recoil. But it allows even small hands a good purchase.

5. no external safety to fuss with in time of need.

6. No brass in your forehead.

7. longevity - hammer forged barrel with conventional rifling will last you a life time and won't go 'kaboom' after shooting too much lead.

8. all metal so you don't feel you paid too much for plastic... actually metal protects your hands better than plastic frames. I love USPs but for plastic guns they're a little over priced, over sized and under accessorized (unusable rails, hard to attach laser).

I'm growing less and less fond of the 40SW round. With the variety of 9s and 45s I own/owned. the 40SW just seems to fit no where for me. Hard to develop accurate ammo. Too much penetration for home defense and too much recoil for target shooting. one more caliber to keep components for.
Not much less expensive than 45.

And I hate separating them from 9 and 45 brass!! the biggest thing for me is, 40SW doesn't add to what my 9mms (cheap) and 45s already do. But that's just me.

I have the loaded 1911 already. the first guns i listed the 92fs, xd, 1911 loaded sw 637 i have already.

Is the g19 grip angle too different compared to 1911 and xd, becuase i feel i do well with those.

And the usp varient 1 is that the one mostly available now or harder to find, whats the difference, sorry dont know anything about usp's

And for the cz, seems alot more difficult to find than the other ones i listed (havent shot any of the ones ive listed), hows the accuracy/reliability compared to the sig or hk, i know the hk frame is pretty big, havent shot it before but have always wanted one. same as 226 have always wanted one.

my hands arent the biggest, i prefer slim grip on 1911 but do fine with the regular one, and 92fs compared to xd is a little big to me

I have a snub airweight, but dont shoot it much, it was my first gun. I would like a 4 inch smith though. But kind of prefer a semi auto or nice lookin SAA in .357

What about a 9mm-1911. I have a full size and an EMP, couple of my favorites.

Don't rule out the .22lr as well.
