    M&P rear sight

Is there a specific direction that they are supposed to push on/off?

Apex bits arrived today. Just don't want to buggar anything up.

The first 3 minutes of this video will help you remove the rear sight.

Just watch out for the USB spring. The rear sight holds it in place. If you're not careful it will shoot across the room when you tap out the rear sight.

Thanks fellas. Rapped on it a bit with a brass drift and it wasn't budging. Didn't want to buggar anything up by getting too aggressive with it so I took it to the LGS and had him use his pusher to remove it, put in the new striker block & spring and re-install.

Came home and put in the rest of the FSS & trigger kit myself in about 45min following along with Apex's install video.

There were a couple of gaps that assumed you knew how to detail strip an M&P...I didn't, but do now...but overall it was pretty easy to do.

I used the 5lb spring and it feels fantastic. No more grit, spongy creep, vague break point or vaguer (not a word) reset.

Can't wait to get this thing to the range and see what it's like with a decent trigger.

Sight tool is expensive but makes the job a easy 5 min affair with frequent pauses for refreshments.

So Ive had this M&P 45c for a couple of months now and I was really liking it in every respect (aesthetics, ergos, recoil management etc) except one - the trigger. That's a glaring issue to me. It was the worst trigger in my safe by a considerable margin. So bad, that I'd considered flipping the gun for an H&K or SIG in .45.

Yesterday I installed the Apex trigger kit (FSS with 5lb spring) and I just got home from the range.

Totally transformed the firearm. Every trigger kit manufacturer says, "it'll make it like a 1911" none do, including this one. But it took it from a firearm I like the looks of to one that I really enjoy shooting.

Best add on you can do. Next to new sights:-) added a RAM too and like it though less so than the FSS

I've got meprolight sights on my G30 and I'm pretty pleased with them, can't say I mind the stock M&P sights though.
