    Pistol question

was calling around to check what gun shops had a used Desert eagle 44 mag, one shop told me they sold one last week on gunbroker, i then asked him the price ( and the price was good ) then he went on to say that i could not have bought it unless i was a police officer.

Thought it did not matter if it was a used gun?

also looking thur the gun safe to see what gun i might sell to help fund my quest for a desert eagle 44 mag, was thinking about selling a tarus 357 but can not find the model # anywhere on the gun?

    thanks for any help given

If it is not on the CA approved list, you can't buy it unless it is a Private Party Transfer.

Bullseye I think has one on consignment in San Rafael.

There is a .44 Magnum Desert Eagle on the approved list.

        desert eagle

will take the one on the list,

i was thinking if it was a used gun it would be PPT and would not need to be on the list.

A lot of times used guns will be in a Dealer's regular inventory. He might buy a collection of guns, take a gun in trade etc.
