Which full size polymer .45? Pick your poison......

This list includes the full spectrum from $450-$1000. I'm sure that many may choose the HK 45 simply because it's an HK + the most expensive of the bunch, after all, a there is something to be said about a $500 gun that can get the same job done as a $1000 gun... but the $1000 gun may be better in certain areas. I think that "value" for your dollar should factor in, but also fit, finish, function etc should also be considered.. so lets see...

NO 1911, CZ or other non polymer choices in the poll.

The ergos of the new generation HKs are what will make my next .45 an HK 45. I'm already used to the HK trigger systems, so that isn't an issue.

The Glock 21 is HUGE. I have big hands and it's a bit big for me.

My vote goes to the XDM. That gun is awesome.

I'd go with a glock 21 for sure man. You can get the SF version if the regular 21 is too large for your hands.

XD, Springfield guns are flawless. Honestly hard to say what's "best" these days with so many good choices. FN fnp45, glock, etc. All shoot straight and are dependable. What fits your hand best?

I love my FNP45 smooth DA and SA trigger.
Its a big gun though so notbgood for small hands.
Its nice to have the ability to have 15+1 .45 rounds in a free state

I voted for hk45 because quality wise there is no comparison with anything else on that list, however if it was my broke *** buying I'd get the m&p45, I like how they feel more than glocks. If I was gonna spend the money to get an fnp id just get the hk

I must say, my Springfield XD45 Tactical is amazingly accurate, even more so than my G21sf. I wasn't quite sold on the platform initially, but after shooting an XD9 with great success, I decided to drop some coin on the .45. I can't imagine a polymer gun being any more accurate than this one (and I'm the proud owner of a Sig X5 and LB PII Supertac).

                        I prefer the Glock 30SF.

Some time ago I sold all of my USPs and replaced them with Glocks. So my vote is G21 gen4. Even if $$ is not an object.

I own an XDm and I got really lucky with a pretty great factory trigger and the ergonomics are pretty good.

BUT I have been playing with a buddy's M&P - which will be my next acquisition. I have the magazine cost though when compared to the Springfield.

I don't think you can really go wrong with any of the above choices.

Pick the one that fits the best and you're good to go.
