    The chicken or the egg?...

So the other day I went out the Turner's grand opening in Temecula. I bought my limit (and then some) off all the ammo that was on sale that day. I figured that the ammo in the calibers I didn't have my friends could use. I also ended up picking up the $60 lower that they had on sale that I didn't even need (oh well...time to start that 300 blackout project I've been putting off)...but I digress.

I've been eye balling the Walther PPQ 9mm for a very long time but never sprung for it. Now that I have bought all this 9mm ammo I decided to finally put one in jail. So essentially I bought a gun for my ammo and not ammo for my gun!

so when they say "What came first? The chicken or the egg?"....it was definitely the egg...

Nice. Where did you get the PPQ? Does Turner's now do SSE?

Since I live in Temecula, I stopped by to check out the new Turner's, but it was so crowded that I left. Will wait a few weeks before going back to see what they have.

I got the PPQ from EBRworks. It was pricey but the SSE is included in the price. Yeah the grand opening was packed. I ended up being there all day (7:15-4:30). It was line after line worse than Disneyland...and when you got to the front of the line there weren't even any fun rides...just people wanting to take your money for the bunch of stuff that you are buying but don't need. Lol

I had 600 rounds of .45ACP stockpiled before I even knew exactly which gun I was going to buy for my first. I DID know it was going to be .45ACP though.

It was $729 I figured with the saved hassel of the finding someone that will actually ship it to CA, get the SSE done and everything else it was worth it.

Nothing wrong with that... I would pay that to have that gun in this state... absolutely.

You should pick one up. I believe there are two left and if not be seems to replenish them pretty quickly. He had 2 two weeks ago, sold them and had another 3 within the week.

I bought a Glock 23 because at the range I'd pick up lots of .40 brass along with my 9mm and it bothered me having to separate them, so I bought a gun to shoot .40 so that the brass wouldn't bug me so much!
