    Help with pistol reassembly

This may be a really dumb question. I Don't know why but I have been having problems reassembly my Sig P6 since day one. The Barrel doesn't seem to fit correctly. I know on most P6's the barrel almost sits flush against the top of the ejection port and firing pin housing.

I am just trying to figure this out so I can shoot this damn thing again!

    Thanks!

Did you remove the locking insert from the frame?

The take down lever? (I think thats what its called) It swivels down revealing a flat spot to pull the slide out. The feed ramps on the barrel are getting stuck on the frame before sliding into place because it sits a good 2 - 3 mm's lower.

Was it fine when you first bought it since you say 'shoot this damn thing again'? If yes, then maybe you just didn't reinstall it correctly.

It has been a reoccurring problem over and over again. I took the whole slide apart and put it back together to make sure it fits fine, but that didn't work. Everytime i take it apart this happens =(

I think its the chamber section of the barrel. That part seems to not fit correctly.

Nein! Tuetonic engineering control would not allow such a thing to leave the factory.

Seriously it's probably something really simple.
