    My Ruger LCP is here

Picked up my Ruger LCP last week. Awesome little blaster! Qualified with it the other day and am now carrying it as a backup. Replaced my always reliable but heavy as a boat anchor NAA 380. No malfunctions and no issues such as smileys on the rounds. Anybody know what the red dot is all about? Very happy so far.

        I don't believe it's on the Roster.

So LEOs could purchase it. It could also be transferred via Roster-exempt intrafamilial transfer into CA or via inheritance or sold via PPT by someone who moved into CA.

Thanks Bill, I appreciate it. I have relatives in Vegas who could buy it there and then we could do a transfer through a Kali dealer. That should work.

I don't think so, they would have to move here first. Then they could sell it to you. And, no, it's not on the list and probably won't be. Unless they are your parents, then they could give it to you.

Shoots great. I was putting rounds through the same ragged hole at 7 yards. Shoots better than my NAA just because it's a locked breech design as opposed to a blowback design. The NAA has so much weight (the slide) slamming back and forth that the recoil seems harsher.

I ordered it on 4-29 and just got it. Luckily I ordered a bunch of extra mags too because now those are backordered.

You must be LEO, I saw those a while back and bookmarked the Ruger page for the info. I want one so bad, I've been trying to figure out how to get one. I tell you what, order another one and when it comes in I'll offer to buy that one from you.

That can't be right, the red dot is on the wrong side unless it for a lefty hommie.

Hows the trigger on that one? Sure looks like a kel-tec....but the kel-tec trigger is awful.

The red dot (and the blue dots and yellow dots on other Ruger pistols) are inventory and inspection tags; it's just a sticker - you can just peel it off.
