    Pistol Purchase Paperwork

Sorry for the noob question fellas! Just wondering if there is a difference in the type/or extra paperwork required when purchasing a pistol since they require registration? I already have 2 long guns, and familiar with their paperwork, anything extra with pistols?

You have to have an HSC (hand gun saftey certificate). Gun shops charge 25 bucks for them. If i remember its a 30 question test. Other than that paperwork is the same

You will also need a second proof of residency (your DL acts as the first one, the second one could be a car registration, utility bill, or another government issued document with your address on it, such as a C&R License)

And need to be 21 years or older.

Thanks! The HSC is taken care of, I guess I just have to remember to bring in my car registration!
