the only accessories you need are mags, ammo, and cleaning/lubing supplies

let us know how it shoots when you break it out of jail, ive been thinking hard about trading my 22/45 for one

First thing I did was replace the crappy sights with some Dawson Fiber optic sights. They weren't cheap tho.

          Congrats! Great choice.

Not many accessories though, unfortunately. I didn't like the stock sights either, and replaced it with a Dawson Precision fiber optic front, and a black serrated rear. Much better. I had some grips from Powder River Precision too. Just get some mags, and you're good to go.

I own one myself. The quality is superb. Shoots great, awesome feel. Not much accessories, try to get mags and ammo. After that your golden. I dont like the stock sights either, might do what these other guys mentioned. Anyone have a link to those?

I just stole a bit of money out of the safe earlier tonight and purchased one. Felt I needed it as I already have a M&P9, M&P9c and M&P Shield 9. Really fallen in love with the M&P line of pistols. Going to be removing the safety as my M&P9 doesnt have it. Was surprised at how closely the hammer fired 22's trigger was able to emulate the feel of the striker fired 9mm's trigger. While lighter, it has a very similar take up and breaking point along with reset length. Perfect for plinking/training at the range. Planning on getting the Dawson Precision sights, but first priority is 3 more mags.

Thanks for the help guys. I wasn't a real fan of the sights either when I went to my LGS to check one out. I've been trying to find mags and that's pretty tough...anyone got any suggestions for holsters? not concealed carry just a thigh one or something to put it when I'm at the range.

I would sign up to be notified on MidwayUSA. I totally forgot I signed up for them before, and was notified recently; though I don't need any mags now. You just have to jump on them fairly fast when notified. Good luck.

In case someone else is looking for one, OC Armory has 1 in stock in display case. Not sure how many more in back if there are any more.
