    flaregun questions

Hi. new to posting. I read the flaregun threads. Q's?

based on CA laws, can i store a flaregun at home?

Keep it in a car trunk, locked, boxed?

if i get a flaregun with the shotgunshell converter (to shoot flares, or shot) do i need to register it? does it become a short barrel shotgun?

If it can use normal shotgun shells (shot/slug), then...
Feds will consider it an AOW.
CA will consider it a SBS.

Possession/use of a shell adapter that only uses shotgun flares is legal under Federal and CA laws.
Possession/use of a cartridge adapter with a rifled barrel is legal under Federal and CA laws.

Yes. Unloaded and in a locked container is CA legal.
