make sure you complete your pistol lower first before buying uppers and short barrels. Try rainierarms.com riflegear.com rogtac.com

Sure you want a pistol in 308? The recoil will make it uncomfortable to shoot since you can't shoulder it.

My thought exactly. WTH are you gonna do with that? If knock down power at ranges that of an AR pistol is what you're after, why not a 7.62x39? IMO, .308 in a pistol kinda defeats the purpose of the .308 round. Id opt to build a rifle and get another for a pistol build. However TEHO!

You guys are over reacting he might just want a flame thrower. And the insane recoil talk is ridiculous I have a psl pistol (7.62x54r) I built and the recoil won't break your wrist in 11 different places. And it's not uncomfortable to shoot.

Yeah, I'd just buy a M92PV, in fact I did, twice. Plenty of power, very reliable. Parts are cheap. Accessories are fairly easy to find, mags are cheap. Prices have gone up a lot, but I still think that is the way to go for a high power pistol. Put an MI forearm on it and it will rock red-dots, lasers, lights, Etc.

Really, high power rifle caliber pistols are more for fun in CA since you cannot SBR them here.

I love it when I pull out my M92 at the range and the traditionalist old guys (I'm an old guy too) all get freaked out nervous looks on their faces.

Fun to shoot, the M92 is a good flame thrower too, even with a flash hider, he he he...

I wouldn't waste a 7.62 lower on a pistol. I'd make a rifle and try to make it lightweight.

Thanks. Parts seem hard to come by probably just build something lightweight

Seem like if I have cut the barrel. I might just run a 14.5 n weld the muzzle. So I can have a stock
That Beowulf is sick. Just don't think I can afford the ammo
