    Sig P220 question

Anyone know if Sig (or anyone else for that matter) makes an extended mag release and slide stop for the P220? Just got my new P220 out of jail and am not a huge fan of the stock release, it's a little short for me. My google-fu seems to be falling short on this search.

I do have the E2 grips on the pistol, but it just does not seem to feel right to me. I have shot Sigs in the past (226, 229, 238) and am familiar with the ergonomics of the p-series, I was just hoping I could make this change.

If not, does anyone have suggestions on mods I could do myself to fix this?

I would check here, Bruce should be able to help you.

Grayguns, the premiere after-market parts & service provider for SIG and HK pistols. Be it competition or carry, Bruce Gray offers 40+ years of experience.

I saw this site but was not sure as it was not specifically listed. I will call on Monday. Do you happen to know if he will send me the parts or do I have to send him the pistol? Seems pretty straight forward to replace...

      Thanks for the reply.

I believe he will send you the parts. The part you are looking for is the intermediate mag release, do not know if he has any in stock??

OR use your support hand thumb

OR reverse the mag catch and use your shooting hand index finger.

Customized Creationz makes custom parts, I'm sure they could help you out. They're not as good as grayguns, I'm just giving another option incase Bruce doesn't work out.
