    DROS'd an SR45 today...

A couple of weeks ago, I was talking with Dave at RCGE about the SR45. They had none in stock and when he checked their distributors, none were available. Did my usual stop last week and low and behold, there in the case was an SR45. They had just got the one in so I checked it out and liked what I saw (and felt). The price was definitely right at $469 so off to layaway it went. Went back today, paid it off and DROS'd it. I've read a bunch of good about them so I can't wait to pick it up and get it to the range.

Never shot one, but read good things about them. I liked the SR9 when I shot it.

    Congrats and enjoy!!

Can't beat that price! I hope to get one of their 1911's soon.

The SR45 looks to be a very popular and good gun. I am a 1911 kind of guy, but I also really like the SR platform. (I have a couple of SR40cs and really like them.) If my LGS ever has an SR45 in stock when I'm there, I will likely pick one up. The one time where Turners had SR45s they sold out in less than a day.

love mine, bought it about 2 months ago and have put about 300 rds. through it and has been great. the only beef I have is the mags that came with mine looked as though they were floating around in a box and were already scratched up and such. also the finish of the mags isn't the same quality as my other SR series pistols.
