Stick with a 1911 in 45cal. You need knockdown power.

Or 1911 in 10mm if you need to kill lots of bears.

Best gun for the money is the Taurus PT 92, a very close copy of the current Beretta 92FS, but will cost several hundred dollars less normally. In addition, Taurus offers life time repairs to the gun for free. So take the Taurus out and shoot the heck out of it, knowing any problems arise because of the amount of rounds fired,e tc. Taurus will repair for free.

Best warranty, and best gun for the price. I have had both a Taurus PT 92 and a Beretta 92 FS and like the Taurus alot better

EDIT: I should have been more specific. I already mentioned that I had a Glock and XD and wasn't to impressed by them, so that's why I sold them. I'm getting a Mk25, so the Sig part is covered. I'm looking around for something more out of the ordinary. Maybe HK P7, HK USP Expert 9 (Already have the 45 and love it), Salient Arms Glock?
