Just came from the range where I was shooting PSP I bought from member of this board. What can I say...... WOW!!!!
I am lousy shot. I am. And frankly I was never buying into this: gun A more accurate than gun B. No, I always understood that gun specifically created for target shooting is more accurate than mass production one. I understood that $2000 Ed Brown 1911 will beat $450 RIA.
That is said I always thought that only shooter who is much better than I am better can actually see the difference. Boy or boy....... was I wrong.
I came to the range, load one round - fired. Hit center of the target (at 7 yards). Load two - fired one after other - wholes were touching. (mind you - I wasn't shooting for group - I was verifying functionality of the pistol). At this point I loaded full mag and shoot all of them. First 7 where all inside 1.5 inch. On the last one I got so giddy that I almost didn't hit the paper.
Any way - I shot 75 rounds. Typical 5 shoot group size - under 2 inches. I KNOW this is nothing to write home about. BUT - for me it is pretty good - best I ever shoot for such long stretch. (Again - I have paper with the group that can be covered by a quater - but that is exception, I am not nearly that good) Second - it is NEW gun for me. I only expect it to get better.
I think I have a problem - driving home I was planing on selling all my guns just to get couple more of P7s.
One beef though - damn thing does get hot pretty fast.
