      A production 1911 is a fabulous gun for someone who shoots 200 rounds a year.For the rest of us who actually shoot often,there's Beretta,Glock,and other brands.
      What's your definition of shooting often? Why would a production 1911 only be able to shoot 200 rounds a year? One of my production 1911s that is all original shot 3550 rounds in one day between two people. After cleaning, looked brand new. I'm not sure I understand your logic here.
