I just saw what I want to do to one of my SP-01 Shadow Targets. Remove poly coat and apply a deep beautiful blue. This one is owned by a czfirearm.us forum member.

Please don't do the gold though.

Lucked out I guess. They had one in stock at Impact Guns.
I guess I got the last one.
14 Rounds mags, but my FFL is cool. As long as I have limiters, Im GTD.

Sure it is... The Shadow was specifically designed for action pistol competition. Check out the USPSA Production Gun List: http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-NROI-production-gunlist.php

The SP-01 is borderline (weight-wise) for an officially-sanctioned IDPA match though... It might make it with the thin aluminum grips, might not... of course, most local IDPA matches don't care, but if you decide to go to the Nationals, or whatever, you might get weighed.

BTW I found out the pic of the blued SP-01 Shadow Target is an Adam Tyc edition(a European CZ champion competitor) .

I was lucky and ordered it through Damascus Gun Shop a few months ago and they had 3 in stock.



I did not require an SSE.

Who did you FFL it through or PM the info? Would love to throw some business his way since I an in OC. I have been regretting selling my old CZ75 and this will fill the need.

Since you did not SSE it and confirming you are not LEO so they did it as the SP01.
