I used to own a PT-911 in stainless which is similar to the 2nd gun you posted. Was accurate, reliable, and good looking. Also came with trijicons and was easy to field strip (like the Beretta 92s).

Not a bad gun if you could get it for a good price.

If you are brave enough to like guns in that form- I applaud you. Waaaay tooooo much bling for me though. To each....his own.

          Buy what YOU like bro.

I've never shot that particular PT92, but the platform works well. The examples I've shot were all on par in terms of accuracy with the Beretta 92, ergonomics are the same (perfect for my hand), and reliability is about identical according to the reviews I've read.

I've actually been looking for a standard stainless pt92 (sans bling) for a couple weeks, but I'm having trouble finding them with 10 rd mags.

I am going to admit it too that I like the way them guns look too... I don't see why they would not function correctly..

I suggest that you go downtown and ask one of the local pimps?

But seriously, it's a Taurus, so it should shoot just fine.

Little flashy for me but to each their own, that's what makes it great. Go for it!

Your first pic is a Taurus PT-92 SS with Gold Accents and Faux-Pearl Grip. I own an all SS PT-92 and I love it. It functions flawlessly, and I think it's way better than the Beretta 92FS because the Beretta 92FS has that stupid slide-mounted safety, whereas the PT-92 has the frame-mounted ambi-safety w/decocker, making it a much more functional design.

The 2nd gun you linked is a Taurus PT45 I think. They don't make these anymore, but they are still relatively easy to find. I know a guy selling a all SS one.

                        I love my PT-92.

Viras. If you don't mind me asking, how much did that 92 run you? The only local shop for me with one in stock is priced WAY high, and I'm trying to figure out a reasonable number to haggle for.

I don't own one, but have read many positive review of the Baretta like Taurus guns. They actually have a plus over Baretta, in that they moved the manual safety to the frame.
