    pistols

    My nephew wants to sell is pistol that he bought as a LEO.The question is Can he sell it to me as PPT or does it have to go one shot exempt.?thanks

    He can sell it to you as a PPT. If a semi auto, any magazines holding over 10 rounds will have to be disassembled.

        PPT is fine, but if he is out of state, you will need to SSE.

            What Mags? they are not necessary to have at the delaer when the PPT goes thru, nor do they have to be there when the weapon is picked up.

              As long as both of you are CA residents, PPT is g2g.

              With the above listed guns, the magazines hold 10 rounds or less, so they are fully transferable.

                  Unfortunately, as i recently found out, this depends on the LGS or, more appropriately, the manager who's working at the LGS at the time of transfer. I PPT'd a Sig at a Turner's in SoCal last week and the manager wouldn't do the transfer unless I left one of the mags with them. Being short on time, I relented and left one of of the mags with the weapon. YMMV...
