Got my First .45 Glock *Range Update Post 25*

I've been a 1911 fan and I just could not justify giving my 1911 if ever I use it in justified shooting. So grabbed myself a Glock 30! That I could replace hehe. Just polished the trigger and bought a Glock OEM - connector. The factory trigger pull was 5 lbs. When I did the polishing and installed the connector, trigger pull is now at 4.5 lbs. Reset is superb and you could really here it "click".

I installed a OEM Glock tritium NS and left the rear stock. It is Meprolight I think. Can't wait to go to the range! This is my new night stand gun now instead of my 1911.

      Congrats.

Never personally liked the 45 Glocks. Too fat for my girl hands.. 9mm/40s are my babies tho. This will always be my go to guns. But like you I can still appreciate the other fine sides of 1911s and other guns but Glocks will always be my fav work guns

Congrats. My glock 30 SF is also my go to gun. Is it gen 4?
"Then there are sheepdogs. The sheepdogs are the bastions of safety. The sheepdog lives solely to protect the flock and confront the wolf. They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

Congrats OP! Nice gun. Curious to know why you left the rear sights stock. I had the same logic. 1911's are too expensive to turn in but I enjoy shooting them the most My HD gun is a G21SF with night sights and a TLR-1. If I were to carry, it will be a G30.

From the pics, it doesn't look like it . Gen 4 Glocks have "Gen 4" on the slide.

That's my daily carry, excellent shooter. Just jailed a 21sf for my bedside HD. Great choice!

Love my 21sf piccy railed Glock. Bedside it rests with a TLR 1S, and filled with gold dots. Practice often with it, and learn to loathe the trigger feel vs. Your 1911's in the safe.

.45 Glocks are the best ones.

My Glock 21sf/Streamlight TLR-2 light/laser is my night time bad guy greeter.

I'm on the fence getting a Glock 30! Thinking the grip is too short and bulky. How does it feel when shooting? OP any reviews on the gun?

Haven't shot it. I have skinny hands and the grip fits good.
