    S&W M&P Compact in 40

I want semi-auto 40 that could be easily concealed for that glorious day when I move to a county or state that'll let me carry. I have a full size M&P 40 and I love it, so I thought I would probably like the compact too. Do any of you guys have any experience with it? Would you recommend something different? Perhaps the sub-compact XD 40?

Thanks in advance for the help

I recommend whatever fits you. I really like mine. The first one turned out to be a lemon. After sending it back the 4th time, they replaced the gun.

You can put a spacer on your fullsize mags for a "full" grip. When you move to a state that allows full cap mags, you can run them w/ the spacer.

250 rounds in the "new" gun so far.

Why did you have to send it back 4 times?

I have the M&P full sized in .40 S&W and it is pretty sweet. Tames recoil in the .40 S&W like no other polygun.

My buddy has the compact and he loves it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get one too. I'd like to shoot it first though just to make sure. I guess I'll call Reeds Indoor Range and see if they have one I can shoot.
