colt commander identifacation

Soooooo got a INSANE deal of a colt commander light weight 1911... I want to know what year it was made and any good/bad traits of this gun. Seems to be in about 7.5-8 out of 10 in total condition. Haven't shot it yet but I'll update soon.

Here's then partial serial 509xx lw (lightweight) 1968??? If I said how much I paid some people would cry lol thanks guys/gals

I own both a Springfield Armory 1911 A1 Loaded parkerized and a Kimber Ultra CDP. That Commander fits right there in the middle. lol.
