    Ruger MKIII.

I have a mkIII target model, it's OK, but I really admire the Ruger 4 1/2" hunter with the fluted barrel.
These guns are mighty hard to come across...so what do you think of me having someone cut down and cut some flutes on my SS target model?
I'm looking forward to your thoughts.

you will spend some coin fluting & cutting barrel, you will be better of selling your ruger and getting hunter model
sigpic I said I didn"t have much use for one, didn"t say I didn"t know how to use it. MATTHEW QUIGLEY

+1. Its not worth the expense, just buy the Hunter model outright.

Contact Ruger. Ask if they will re-barrel the gun for you.
