    Glock 30 questions.

    Hello all,

    I am getting a Glock 30 which is my first .45acp Glock. My 1911's eat 200g. LSWC's 99% of the time. I would like the G30 to do the same but don't know if Glocks will feed that shape bullet. Before I spend the money on an aftermarket barrel it would be nice to know if it will feed that bullet.

      They'll feed fine. Although it is recommended to only shoot jacketed ammunition. The Glocks polygonal rifling keeps more lead inside the barrel than your' traditional rifling. Apparently. So if they're jacketed, you're good and your' Glock will eat them up. Most Glocks will feed almost anything. My 17 even feeds empty casings when i'm trying to run failure drills.

          If anything after market barrels will bring down the reliability being tighter spec usually.

          The only time I reccomend after barker barrels if for shooting lead casts from Glocks.

          I've fed tons of jacketed WCs from my 17 with factory barrel with out issue.

              It should feed fine. You could even polish the feed ramp.
