    new addtion :D

Well after getting my first 1911 last month and getting bit by the bug I caved in and snagged this at my buddys shop. Been drooling since they came in a couple of weeks ago. Since my wife was there * my CFO* she gave it the go ahead without any groveling lol

    mmm TRP operator...

I hate you...but nice choice, I hope you have fun with it. I'm salivating at that accessory rail, but the grip could look a bit more tactical.

gotta see them in person. I'll try and take a better pics later. Vert fine serrations. Feels almost like ray skin and glues itself into your hand. Arrggg I cant wait to go pick her up.

Is that a new model? It looks like the TRP Operator, but with the short rail. Those grips really do feel cool! Very nice!! Enjoy!!

Yes, the newer TRP operators have the shortened rail and in my opinion, better grips. (the older "grit" grips didn't hold up to alot of use and trh grit would come off after repeated use).

Enjoy it! The grips look much better than the old sandpaper grips, although I have to admit that I'm going to miss the "Robocop" look of the old Operator!

Oh, you'll be groveling soon. Payback will be a beotch. When you least expect it- "Honey, remember when you bought that second 1911? Well let me show you this I'm picking up".

the price was 1400 and change before tax and dross and my buds shop. Stoped by the Stockade today to grab some odds and ends and they charge full list, 1600+. Alteast there isnt a mark up there.

Hey nice gun! I was in there shooting when you purchased that. How's shooting with that frontstrap checkering? It felt pretty brutal.
