    Those are Larry Davidson's "Chaos" grips, ultra thin and in black/grey. Check out his website, he's got a ton more designs, and can make them in varying thicknesses.

    Edit: Just got an email back from Dave Williams. The extractor has been bead blasted, not hard chromed. Whew!

          To me, that's the perfect size for a 9mm 1911. I'll bet that bad boy shoots great. I've thought about doing the same thing with a .45. What slide did they use?

                Cost about $1550, and took about 3 months. The extractor was bead blasted, not hard chromed as I mistakenly thought at first.
