    another happy P-6 owner

I picked up my P-6 today, and went immediately to the indoor range. Yeah boy!
This baby is a shooter! All in the 10-ring at 7 yards. Highly accurate, handles great, no malfunctions in 200rds. It's so handy it's almost a compact. The single stack mag only holds 8, but it also allows for a slim and good feeling grip. This would be a good carry gun. With a 8+1 capacity, this gun is a very viable pistol for Cali use, since we can only have 10.

I bought my oldest son one, and 2 of my buds bought a P-6 as well. The Sig P-6 is one of the best buys I've seen since the HK P-7 surplus pistols in the 80's.

Looks like I'll need to stock up on more 9mm now......

    Glad to hear it.
I'm anxious to get my P225 back from CCR to shoot it as well.

I love my P225 as well. DA is pretty heavy but the entire gun points very well.

Just got done doing a semi disassembly, inspection, and lube. Excellent condition and very, very little wear on the front of the slide. Going to shoot it tomorrow.

            Congrats on your P6's everyone.
I was really impress with their accuracy at the range,
and the ease in disassembly and reassembly.

After I painted my front sight yellow, target acquistion
was much faster for my old eyes.

            Enjoy!

I picked mine up yesterday. Haven't had time to shoot it yet, but it looks like it may have some problems with hollow points. I had some dummy rounds that I tried to feed through it and a couple of hollow points and truncated flat points wouldn't feed 100%. Flat nose stuck on the feedramp. Mine had minor slide wear and the lower is almost mint with a heavy DA trigger. Here's a couple of pics.

Took mine to the range last week and it ate up every round. Shot a bunch of WWB 115 FMJ, Federal 115 FMJ, Winchester 147gr JHP and Speer Gold Dot 124gr+p JHP.

Shot mine last night and today, total of 300 rounds and no feeding problems. But all I used was Winchester White Box. Tomorrow I'll try some other bullet types to check feeding reliability. Other than the trigger being on the heavy side for me, I am happy with the purchase.

That double action trigger should come with a car jack to release it.

                    But it is a shooter.
