I just bought a lot of assorted JHP rounds in .40SW, and need some help identifying the type.
There are 4 different rounds in the lot, 2 Federal and 2 Winchester.
Attached are some pics. I believe the Federal rounds are 180gr HST (Nickel) and 180gr Hi-Shok (Brass), but correct me if I am wrong. Is there a way to tell what the bullet weights are without the box?
The Winchester rounds are the ones that stump me. The third round on the right of the Winchester pictures are my nickle plated 180gr Ranger T ammo (fairly new). I have no idea what the one on the left is, but its brass case. The one in the middle is nickle plated and looks similar to the my 180gr Ranger T, but with a smaller opening and slightly different jacket color.
It would be good to know exactly what these rounds are so that I can purchase more of my favorite type.
