TRP Operator - When was this model made?

I've never seen one like this before and figured that these are maybe the older models?

I seem to remember Springfield Armory doing "TRP conversions" and "Professional" conversions? Looks like a older Loaded with the square dustcover that was converted down the road.

But the rounds look like matte blue and there's no magwell on it? Pretty interesting find, I'm curious too.

I believe that would have to be the older model, as the ones I have seen recently had a light rail. I'm not a Springfiled expert, though.

I was always under the impression Operators had rails.

Looks like a blued slide (polished flats) on a stainless frame? Also, for some reason, the front strap checkering looks like it's done after the fact.

I just noticed that the slide looks to be the older full dustcover Operator slide. The rear sight and no cuts on the front of the slide are a dead giveaway. There was two versions of the Monolithic Operators: bull barrel and with a bushing. This one seems to have a bushing on it.

So, to me it looks to be a Springfield Armory makeover using a TRP Operator slide, polished slide flats (reason for the blued rounds) with bushing on a older square frame. The beavertail looks like a Springfield beavertail.
