Best 10mm ammo for plinking/range time

Anyone have any experience with cheap plinking ammo? I have heard of underwood ammo as a good bet.

Underwood is a bit expensive for plinking IMO. Right now, 10MM is an expensive platform for plinking.

Underwood makes full power loads. Super expensive, and probably the worst for plinking.

Buy the cheapest stuff you can find, or start reloading.

Personally, I have found Underwood to be superb. It is not "cheap" but I think you will likely not find anything a great deal less expensive, that is anywhere near UW from a real 10mm load standpoint.

I reload my own 10mm, so it is as inexpensive to shoot for me as any jacketed handgun ammo. Reloading is pretty simple, even a cave man can do it.

I've looked all over and have not found a steady source of plinking ammo. It appears that my new-found love for 10mm will finally be what sends me back to reloading.

Bullet_Man911 (I think I have the correct) is a member here. He loads for group buys and such. I bought some of his 10mm ammo during the last buy.

Didn't shoot a whole lot, but worked fine. Reputation is very good so I feel comfortable that there will be no issues.

Georgia Arms sells bulk 10mm FMJ (fine for practice)...but they've been out of stock for a loooong time. Most of their ammo gets sold at gun shows these days.

It looks like Cabelas may have bulk 10mm made by HSM right now.

Reloading is definitely the way to go for 10mm.

Not a full power load, but I've used this PPU ammo for practice without any issues. It's a good deal from Ammoman when he has it.

Armscor 10mm, decent price (just on midway for 22.99 if you can ignore the limit and shipping cost)

I have about 400 rounds of that stuff and has some decent reviews.

10mm, cheap and plinking should never be used in the same sentence!

I've used Underwood TMJ ammo for target. They are full loads and not that expensive for what you get. Currently they are out of stock though.

I've used HSM before too, but it's not full loads.

If you don't reload, Armscor is about the cheapest you can get now. Sorry but 10mm does not equal cheap ammo

I have shot HPR and it works great, not too expensive. Actually the 180gr XTP was cheaper than AE FMJ.
